Perfect for Municipal Water
The UC-200 is specifically for municipal water and should not be used with private well water. It is a pure water purifier, not a water softener.
No Hard Water Issues
The UC-200 will not resolve issues caused by excessively hard water, such as lime scale or mineral deposits on tea kettles.

Installation is simple and straightforward. The UC-200 is designed for direct connection to the main kitchen sink cold water line. No drilling or mounting an extra filter dispenser is required. A video tutorial is available for easy installation.

3-Stage Filtration
The UC-200 uses a 3-stage filtration process with micro-sediment membranes, KDF-55, and coconut shell carbon. It does not reduce TDS or PPM-type meter readings, so if you want TDS or PPM removal, a reverse osmosis system is required. The filtration process preserves health-beneficial mineral content.
Bacteriostatic Protection
Unlike carbon-only filters, the UC-200 is bacteriostatic and resistant to mold or bacteria growth. To test the filter, use DPD#1 chlorine test strips. Replace the filter when chlorine is detected. Sensitive strips that test down to 0.25 or 0.5 ppm are ideal for early detection.
